On this, the 14th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, I wanted to post an image of love. Simple, beautiful, love. This day—for many years—has been one of personal reflection. It's the one day, more than any other day of the year, where I completely disconnect from the digital media life. No TV. No computer. No phone. Just me, nature, and physical exercise... I do different things every year.
Tomorrow is promised to no one, and, since this post is pre-scheduled, who's to say that I'll even be alive when this blog post hits the internet. It's not for me to determine. We as individuals—and as a nation—need to be giving more love and forgiveness to the world. My private reflection and meditation is a memorial to the countless lives forever changed by the hateful acts carried out 14 years ago. But I choose love, peace, and hope.
