To say that Ōkuma, Japan has been devastaed—the town in the Fukushima Prefecture that was the site of the largest nuclear meltdown since Chernobyl—would be an understatement. A whole region has been contaminated, businesses closed, homes and factories abandoned. There just aren't words that can accurately describe that awfulness of the devastation. It's on a scale too massive to easily comprehend. Until now.
There's a website (http://www.miraikioku.com/streetview/en/) that shows the devastation over time. This site simply captures the life before, during and after the earthquake and tsunami. It's both breathtaking and heartbreaking, but 100% worth checking out.
